In a world of monetary censorship and surveillance by states and corporations, Bitcoin is needed. Bitcoin can bring freedom where it has been absent. And it can protect freedom where it is in danger. But for that, the technology needs to be understood, explained, and developed. It may be that Germans, Austrians and Swiss don't understand the need for censorship-resistant money: "But everything is forbidden somewhere," says Stadicus.
